Wish that Santa could be here to see...it's beautiful under my tree

Thank you N'Sync, I'm sure it is beautiful under your tree. I'm not sure what those lyrics are supposed to mean, but I love the song anyway. I've never gotten away from that N'Sync Christmas CD. I've "lost" all the rest of those embarrassing CD's (e.g. Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, 98 Degrees), BUT I will never "lose" my N'Sync Christmas CD. I'm pretty sure Nate might accidentally throw it away when I'm not paying attention, after our drive to and from Vegas last weekend for my good friend Dana's wedding. I may have played that CD one too many times. It all evens out though...I got my fair share of country music. Dana's wedding was beautiful and she looked happier than I've ever seen her. They had the most delicious food too! I think I gained at least four pounds over the weekend. Thanks Dana! She is in Panama right now for her honeymoon...rough Christmas for them right? Christmas is my favorite time of year. Everyone is a little happier. Everyone is a lot more eager to smile at and help strangers. Everyone is just generally more Christlike. I love all the hot chocolate with whipped cream, the gingerbread houses, Christmas decorations, caramel corn, the night drives to look at Christmas lights, watching Christmas movies, the sugar cookies with the questionable frosting (sorry family), looking at Christmas cards, getting together with childhood friends who are in town for the holiday, hearing all the Christmas hymns at church again, the last minute shopping trips, and wrapping the presents while trying to guess what's in them (I'm pretty sure Nate put some dice or something in one box to throw me off with the noise). All of those things are great, but my favorite part is all of the time we have to reflect on Christ's birth. We have time to change ourselves for the better, being more like Him in all that we do. Thinking more about other people than ourselves. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and enjoys time with family and friends! We love you!

  1. I put on "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" in the clinic while still at school. NOBODY KNEW THE WORDS BUT ME!!!! It was so weird. SO WEIRD. So I sang the loudest I could possibly sing. I love the N*SYNC holiday album. Best one ever.

  2. Thanks Brittany...this was a wonderful tribute to what Christmas is all about. Didn't read it until Jan. 5, but the true message of Christmas---The Spirit of Christ---is what we ALL need ALL year!! It was so great to see you! We love you guys too!
