It's Official...

I really am going to keep doing this I guess. I'm officially writing a second post! That means something right? Well, our Thanksgiving was great. We spent it with my parents. My mom and I decided to be brave and cook EVERYTHING. We thought it might be smart to do a smaller Thanksgiving or small servings or something, but who wants that? How can we stuff ourselves sick if it's "just the right amount". So, our official feast included: Parmesan puff pastry sticks, Turkey (obviously), stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh rolls, homemade green bean casserole (SO delicious), macaroni and cheese, creamed corn, twice-baked sweet potatoes (you basically dig out all the potato and destroy any hint of "healthy" by adding brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and vanilla...oh, and topped with marshmallows), pecan pie, and apple pie. Were we all disgustingly full? Of course. Was it worth it? Absolutely. We couldn't imagine putting anything else in our stomachs, so we went to the movies. The whole way to the theater, Nate and I are saying to my parents how full we both are and how we never want to eat again. We got to the theater and bought popcorn and Skittles...typical.

  3. I'm here via the Boob Nazi's request. I'm very obedient that way. I even put in the time to read through your entire blog. :)
OK so I live in fear of being "that" blog but mostly b/c I have no idea what "that" implies. As for your fear of not having anything good to write you can just do what I do and make crap up. I advocate lying as often as possible. And now I'm rambling in your comment section. Sorry about that.
